Inaugural Meeting of Valued Families Recap

Thank you to everyone who made it to the first Valued Families Meeting this Sunday! I think it was a terrific success and I look forward to getting to know even more LGBT parents and their children at future get-togethers.  

 A special thank you is also extended to Rebecca and Charis of Harmony Cafe for their time and assistance. The generosity of the Harmony staff in lending their time, the space, and their feedback has been enormous.

At this meeting we had a meet and greet, socialized,  filled out an informational survey and discussed our wishes for the group's role. I would encourage any new attendees to fill out the form so the activities and direction planned truly represent the needs of all families.

Based on the intake forms,  it appears that everyone agrees that weekend days work best so let's stick to the schedule of meeting the first Sunday of each month at 2:00.
